Alfonso is a founding partner at Oquendo Capital and has over 20 years of experience in financing and advising Spanish medium and small sized companies.
Prior to starting Oquendo Capital in 2007, Alfonso was a founding partner of Oquendo Corporate, a Spanish M&A boutique. Alfonso has also held positions in Service Point Solutions, where he was responsible for Corporate Development and as part of the structured finance team at The Chase Manhattan Bank focused on the telecoms, infrastructure and shipping industries.
Alfonso is fluent in English, German and Spanish and has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF.
Daniel is a founding partner at Oquendo Capital and has over 20 years of experience in financing and advising Spanish middle market companies.
In 2002, Daniel founded Oquendo Corporate, an independent M&A firm focused on the Spanish mid-market where he advised on more than 15 transactions for an aggregate amount of over Euro 1.500 million.
Daniel was previously a partner at Quabbala Asesores, an independent strategic consulting firm that provided advice to large Spanish corporates. Between 1995 and 2000, Daniel developed his career in London, where he held different positions in the M&A teams at Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust and Merrill Lynch.
Daniel speaks English and Spanish and has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF.
Cyril is a partner at Oquendo Capital, where he is responsible for the French market. He has over 20 years of experience in financing and investing in French medium and small sized companies. Before joining Oquendo, Cyril co-founded Indigo Capital SAS, an investment management firm with €600 million AUM dedicated to the provision of junior and senior mezzanine bonds and minority equity to French and European businesses.
Cyril was previously at Indigo Capital LLP, a European mezzanine fund based in London and has also worked for ING and Citibank in Paris.
He has a B.A. in Finance from ESLSCA and a Masters degree in International Business Law from ESSEC.

Paolo is a partner at Oquendo Capital, where he is responsible for the Italian market. He has over 25 years of experience in financing and investing in Italy medium and small sized companies. Before joining Oquendo, Paolo was Managing Director in Muzinich & Co, institutionally-focused investment firm specializing in public and private corporate credit.
Paolo was previously at Credit Suisse, where he has been responsible for DCM - Southern Europe focussing on IG and HY corporate clients. Prior to that, he has worked for JP Morgan Chase, institutional focused investment firm, where he reached the position of Vice President - Head of Italian Corporate DCM.
He has a degree cum Laude in Business Administration from L.U.I.S.S Rome.

Rocío is part of the Oquendo team since 2007. She was previously part of the Corporate Actions & Dividends team in BNP Paribas in Paris, where she covered clients in France, Portugal and the Netherlands. Rocío started her professional career in the wealth management department in N+1 in Madrid.
Rocío has a degree in Business Administration from ICADE and Certificate in Corporate Finance from NYU, New York. Rocío speaks Spanish, English and French.
Leticia joined the Oquendo team in 2008 from the M&A department in law firm Latham and Watkins where she was involved in LBOs and IPOs. She had previously worked as a tax attorney in Baker and Mackenzie and in the Corporate department in Uría y Menéndez.
Leticia has a double degree in Business Administration and Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and she speaks English, Spanish and Catalán.
Ricardo joined Oquendo in 2013 from Mercapital, where he was a principal working on investment opportunities in the Spanish private equity mid-market.
He was previously a consultant in Booz & Co in their Madrid offices.
Ricardo has a MBA from the London Business School and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona. He speaks English, Spanish and French.
Miguel joins Oquendo in 2019 contributing with over 15 years of experience in corporate lending, acquisition finance and transaction services.
Prior to joining Oquendo, Miguel has been working for c. 10 years in Senior roles within the Structured Finance team of Caixabank where he led coverage for companies in regions of Central (including Madrid) and Northern Spain. He has been directly involved in the origination and execution of more than 200 deals in the Spanish Middle Market.
Prior to this, Miguel worked from 2005 to 2008 in the Corporate Finance department of CEMEX being involved in the financing of the Group.
Double degree in Business Administration and Law from ICADE (E3) and an Executive MBA from IE Business School. He speaks English and Spanish.
Gonzalo joins Oquendo in 2019 contributing with 20 years of experience in corporate leading, acquisition finance and transaction services.
Prior to joining Oquendo, Gonzalo has been working for c.9 years in Senior roles within the Structured Finance team of Bankinter and Banco Espirito Santo de Investimento. He has been directly involved in the origination and execution of more than 100 deals in the Spanish Middle Market. Prior to this, Gonzalo worked eight years in Private Equity Funds, such us Ahorro Corporación and Géminis Capital, and he also spent two years in Corporate Finance, Arthur Andersen.
Gonzalo has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF and a Master in Financial Markets from CUNEF. He speaks English and Spanish.
Miguel joins Oquendo in 2019 contributing with 14 years of experience in private equity.
Prior to joining Oquendo, Miguel has been working for c.12 years as Investment Director in Sherpa Capital and Realza, two of the most active Spanish private equity firms. Prior to this, Miguel worked during two years as Investment Associate in Deutsche Bank.
Double Degree in Business Administration and Law from ICADE (E3). He speaks Spanish and English.
Manuel joins Oquendo in 2023 with more than 30 years of experience in companies in special situations, either rapid growth or in distress.
Before joining Oquendo, he was CEO at Nextil, a company listed in Madrid's stock exchange, where he managed to turn around the Group and made it a leader in the USA and Europe. He was responsible for the companies in Sherpa Capital, and before that he held managing positions in the industries of furniture, textile, electrical components, health, naval construction, and food, among others.
Manuel is an engineer by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Masters in Industrial Management, Masters from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, and PADE by IESE Business School in Madrid.
Antonio joined Oquendo Capital in 2019. Previously, he worked as an Investment Associate at Azora. He was previously analyst at the M&A department of BBVA in Madrid office.
Antonio has a MBA from INSEAD and a double degree in Business Administration and Law from ICADE. CFA ESG Investing. He speaks English and Spanish.
Alessandro joined Oquendo Capital in 2023. Prior he worked as Debt Advisor within Rothschild´s mid-market division and with Marlborough Partners in London. He previously spent five years working in the Leveraged Finance department of UniCredit for private equity clients across Europe.
Alessandro graduated cum laude from the Bocconi University in 2012. He speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish.
Tim joined Oquendo in December 2023 with a focus on international fundraising. Previously, Tim was a Director at Muzinich & Co where he spent most of his time on fundraising for private credit strategies. Prior to that he spent roughly a decade in Institutional Sales roles at several global investment banks including HSBC, Société Générale and Barclays. Tim holds an MSc in Quantitative Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Tim is a CFA Charterholder.
He joined Oquendo Capital in 2022. Previously, Miguel worked at PwC in the Audit department specialized in the financial services sector. Miguel has a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and Northeastern University (Boston). He speaks Spanish, French and English.
Stefania joined Oquendo in 2019. Prior to joining Oquendo, Stefania has been working in Allfunds Bank S.A. within the Transactions Team, dealing with the incorporation of new fund structure in the trading platform, controlling the data processing activity of the bank and monitoring the transfer agent activities.
Previously, she worked at Intensa San Paolo Bank Luxembourg S.A. (formerly “SEB”) and Aztec Financial Services Luxembourg S.A. She is fluently in Italian, English, Spanish and French and has a Master Degree in Economics and Business Administration from UNIBA.
She joined Oquendo Capital in 2022. Previously, she worked at Banca March, as part of the team responsible for the origination and management of illiquid investments. Lucía holds a degree in Economics from CEU San Pablo University within the international program with the University of Chicago, for which she obtained a certificate in International Political Economy issued by the Graham School. She speaks Spanish and English.
Joined in 2023. Prior to Oquendo, Gemma worked at Auxadi Contables & Consultores in the Investment Funds department, managing the accounting cycle and taxes for funds in the Real Estate sector. Gemma is a graduate in Finance and Accounting from the University of Granada. She speaks Spanish and English.
She joined Oquendo Capital in 2024. Previously, she worked as an analyst in the CIB division of BNP PARIBAS. Clara began her professional career in the TAX Advisory and FAAS department of Ernst & Young (EY) in Madrid.
Clara has a master's degree in Financial Markets at CUNEF. She speaks Spanish and English
